As we mark the United States of America’s 250th anniversary, this season proudly celebrates the richness and diversity of American artistry, placing it in vibrant conversation with music from around the globe. New Hampshire Music Festival Exceeds $130,000 Fundraising Challenge Goal
Plymouth, NH – March 7, 2025 – The New Hampshire Music Festival (NHMF) is pleased to announce that, with the tremendous support of its community, it has successfully met—and exceeded—its $130,000 fundraising challenge goal. This achievement is a result of the generosity and enthusiasm of donors who answered the call to contribute to the Festival’s success. The NHMF Board of Directors announced this ambitious fundraising challenge on January 21, 2025, and thanks to the incredible contributions from supporters, every dollar donated was matched, doubling the impact of each gift. These funds will play a pivotal role in hiring and housing the talented musicians who will perform in the upcoming summer season, ensuring that the Festival can continue to provide world-class musical experiences to the community. New Hampshire Music Festival Announces Partnership with Pemigewasset Choral Society
The New Hampshire Music Festival is excited to announce a new partnership with the Pemigewasset Choral Society for the opening Classics concert of its 2025 Festival season! On Thursday, July 10, 2025 the two organizations will join forces to form the NHMF/Pemi Festival Chorus and perform Antonio Vivaldi’s Gloria RV 589 under the baton of the Pemi Choral Society’s Music Director William Gunn. Choral works have been a cornerstone of the New Hampshire Music Festival’s history, and we are thrilled to revive this long-standing tradition in 2025 with the support of the Pemi Choral Society. Gloria, Vivaldi’s most famous and celebrated choral work, sets the traditional Latin Mass in twelve vibrant cantata-like sections. Composed around 1715, the piece stands out for its exuberant and sunny energy, rich orchestration, and striking contrasts between full chorus and soloists sections. This is a performance you won’t want to miss! We invite all members of the community to participate in the NHMF/Pemi Festival Chorus. The Pemi Choral Society will be providing communications to all singers. 2025 NHMF/Pemi Festival Chorus Registration The New Hampshire Music Festival’s 73rd season will take place July 8-31, 2025 including Tuesday Chamber Music concerts, Thursday Classic concerts, and several free Music in the Mountains concerts. Tickets are expected to go on sale in March.

The NHMF Board of Directors has pledged $130,000 as a challenge to the community. Between now and March 1, 2025, every dollar donated up to $130,000 will be matched, doubling the impact of every gift received. Please join the Board in helping to hire and house our wonderful musicians for the summer season with this match challenge! Every year, musicians congregate here in the lakes and mountains to create one of the most unique symphonies in the country and present a wonderful month of music. The New Hampshire Music Festival brings some of the country’s best professional musicians to Plymouth allowing them to partake in the wonders of our beautiful region. What do they give us in return? The gift of music! And what a wonderful gift …the music shared throughout the past 72 years is one of the enduring cultural events that has helped put Plymouth on the map. The New Hampshire Music Festival truly is the region’s Sound of the Summer. As we prepare for our 73rd season, July 8-31, 2025, we invite you to reflect on the symbiotic relationship between the people of the lakes and mountain regions and the music that fills our summer.
