Donate your used orchestra instrument to NHMF where funds will be raised to refurbish it and link it to a child who wants to play. Strings, wind, and brass instruments only. What a wonderful way to give new life to that instrument in the attic and give a child a free instrument to bring musical joy into his or her life!
Up in the attic,
tucked in the corner,
sleeps a sweet little old cello.
He needs new strings and his bow re-haired
but other than that
he is a quite lovely little fellow.
Long ago he had a child
who lugged him everywhere,
and played with him every day
But now he sleeps
all dusty and dreaming
of a new child to come his way.
go get him, bring him to us
we will fix him right up
making his little bow glide
